Historic Preservation

City Hall, on North Second Street, is a 1917 Romanesque Revival building with hand-painted murals depicting the city's history. The artwork is part of "Palatka Throughout the Ages," a walking/driving tour depicting the town's cultural and historical resources through locally produced murals

Design Aspects

Repoint brick masonry and repaint stucco,. Construct exterior ramp/landing for handicapped accessibility, refurbish exterior doors, trim and hardware to historical accuracy. Evaluate and restore exterior windows, doors, trim and hardware.
